Corey Silliman, a Calaveras native, began his career in horticulture at the tender age of 14, taking care of landscaping at vacation homes in Arnold. His love of caring for plants was immediately evident and he followed his interest into his career. He spent years in landscape and golf course management before finding a love of agriculture. His passion for the field brought him to Chatom Vineyards. He spent a year as assistant vineyard manager, immersing himself in the science of viticulture, before taking on the role of manager. His enthusiasm is evident and paired with both a mechanical and horticultural background, he has found a home amongst the vines!
